Writing Rules
OMNIALANG: International Journal of Language Continuum (OMNIA-LC) expects all submitted manuscripts to be prepared in accordance with internationally accepted academic writing standards. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are clear, coherent, and academically rigorous. All manuscripts are also required to be prepared using the official manuscript template of the journal, which is available for download here.
Language and Style
- Manuscripts must be written in English, German, French, or Spanish and should demonstrate a high standard of academic language, clarity, and coherence.
- Authors whose first language is not one of the languages above are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed for linguistic accuracy prior to submission.
- The writing style should be formal, precise, and accessible to an international scholarly audience.
Structure of Manuscripts
Manuscripts should follow a clear and logical structure and should normally include the following components:
- Title
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (5–7 keywords)
- Main text
- References
Additional sections such as acknowledgements, conflict of interest statements, or ethical declarations should be included where relevant.
Citation and Referencing
- All citations and references must follow the APA (7th edition) style consistently.
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all citations and references.
- All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the text.
Anonymity for Peer Review
To ensure a double-blind peer review process, manuscripts must be prepared in a way that does not reveal the identity of the author(s). Any information that may compromise anonymity should be removed from the main manuscript file. Author details are to be provided separately during submission.
Originality and Ethical Compliance
All submissions must be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere. Authors are expected to comply fully with the ethical principles and plagiarism policy of OMNIALANG: International Journal of Language Continuum.
By submitting a manuscript to OMNIALANG: International Journal of Language Continuum, authors confirm that they have read and agreed to comply with these writing rules.
